Message	with the electric you have a sending unit at the source and then there is a wire that controls the gauge... for mechanical you actually bring the source to the gauge... Like for boost controllers. Instead of running your harness back to the display unit, it would have a vacuum line instead... TrueLinePerformance Car enthusiast for the car enthusiast.
